George M. Church

George has been a scientific advisor to Nuclera since 2017. He is Professor at Harvard & MIT, co-author of 509 papers, 143 patent publications & the book "Regenesis", and has developed methods used for the first genome sequence (1994) & million-fold cost reductions since (via NGS and nanopores), plus barcoding, DNA assembly from chips, genome editing, writing & re-coding. He co-initiated the BRAIN Initiative (2011) & Genome Projects (1984, 2005) to provide & interpret the world's only open-access personal precision medicine datasets.

Hywel Morgan

Hywel joined Nuclera as a scientific advisor in 2018. He is Professor of Bioelectronics at the University of Southampton and specializes in bio-sensors, nanotechnology and lab-on-a-chip technologies. Prof. Morgan completed a PhD in biophysics. He has been awarded a Royal Society-Leverhulme Senior Research Fellowship at the University of Oxford and the Desty memorial prize for innovation in separation science. Prof. Morgan is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics, the Royal Society of Chemistry, and the IET. He holds a Royal Society Wolfson research merit award. He is also co-founder and Director of VivoPlex, a company developing implantable vital signs sensors.
