Sumit Kalsi

An interdisciplinary scientist, Sumit has over 9 years of experience in enabling technologies for life science applications, with microfluidics as a recurring theme. He has worked with different companies for the development of proof-of-concept prototypes and also to increase their TRL level. At Nuclera, Sumit is working with the engineering team to design and develop a benchtop instrument to translate biochemical synthesis to miniaturized cartridges. Sumit has a PhD and MSc in Bionanotechnology from University of Southampton and BEng in Biomedical Engineering from University of Mumbai.
