Accelerating Transcription Factor Discovery with Cell-Free Systems

In this webinar, Dr. Manoj Saxena (Birkbeck, University of London) presents a cell-free, microfluidic multiplex screening workflow that rapidly optimizes soluble transcription factor production. Using this approach, a novel target, Transcription Factor L (TF L) with LIM domains, a homeodomain, and extensive disorder, was produced alongside domain constructs and functionally validated by DNA-binding assays within 48 hours. This workflow moves researchers from disorder to data, enabling assay-ready proteins and accelerating discovery in developmental biology, regenerative medicine, and therapeutic development.
