“Accelerating Protein Research: Express and Scale Hard-to-Make Proteins with eProtein Discovery”

This webinar will explore how the eProtein Discovery™ System overcomes challenges in expressing difficult proteins, including transcription factors, and proteins with disordered regions or disulfide bonds. Using cell-free protein synthesis (CFPS) and digital microfluidics, it enables the production of soluble, purified proteins in 48 hours. Case studies will demonstrate how expression and purification results guide scaling up in cell-based systems, producing functional proteins in quantities from micrograms to milligrams. The webinar will showcase how this innovative technology accelerates therapeutic development and protein research

Kundan Sharma holds a Microbiology degree from the University of Delhi and a PhD in Molecular Biology from the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry in Gottingen, specializing in quantitative and structural proteomics. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, University of Oxford, focusing on advanced workflows in immunopeptidomics and phosphoproteomics. Kundan has industry experience leading high-throughput affinity MS platform development at OMass Therapeutics and as an Applications Specialist at Bruker showcasing MS-based 4D-Omics solutions. He is currently a Field Application Scientist at Nuclera, supporting customers and training on the eProtein Discovery platform.
